Whilst researching for my Digital imaging project, i came across a French retoucher Christophe Huet. Not only is his work amazing and inspiring, but his website is extremely helpful. He shares his personal opinions and is wiling to help or answer any questions you may have and not many artists / photographers etc. are prepared to do this. Also he shows before and after images of some of his work which is really fascinating, you do not know the extremes he goes to and how much work he has done until you see how it started.
I love the way some images are quite subtle as to what he has manipulated or retouched and others are so highly retouched.
He manipulates and retouches his images in such away that they start to look like paintings rather than photographs but this gives him such a unique style.
The ideas he comes up with are really incredible, he is such an inspiration.
