Tech workshops, High and Low key lighting

This week i decided to upload photographs of my own. These are my high key and low key images that i shot for my technical workshop project.

I was really pleased with the outcome of both final images especially as it was the first time i had properly used the studios and equipment on my own.

There were a lot of technical aspects to think about along with composition and the styling.

I wanted to keep the styling and poses fairly simple. The high key shot is classic and elegant where as the low key shot is more informal.

I shot on a Hasselblad using 120 film. The images above are the prints i printed in the uni colour darkroom then scanned in.
