Project ideas !

Now we are back from New York, i think its time to start getting some ideas together for both projects i have at the moment.

The first project is to produce a fashion spread for a magazine with the theme 'theory of gaia'. We have to produce a front cover and a double page spread for a magazine of our choice, (i have chosen 125 magazine).

So basically the theory says that living organisms and their inorganic surroundings have evolved together as a single living system that greatly affects the chemistry and conditions of Earth’s surface. Some people relate to it as 'mother earth'. also it is named gaia after the Greek primordial goddess of the Earth.

I think a mother earth goddess figure would be a great way to portray my idea of gaia as a fashion piece. When thinking of goddess, the feelings of elegance, floaty, feminine etc. comes to mind and i got the idea of using soft, floaty fabrics to try and show this.
