Classic fashion ideas

The other project i have is to produce a set of 6-8 images with the theme 'classic fashion' and we also have to add a modern/contemporary twist. So i've been doing some thinking and came up with the idea of using the women's tuxedo as a classic fashion piece. I had in mind this image

my idea is to contemporaries the classic tux by using contemporary, cutting edge poses and adding modern accessories. However to keep classic concepts within the images i will use 1930's Hollywood glamour lighting and 30's hair and makeup.
